  6. How To Install Into RiscOS EarthMap
  7. -----------------------------------
  8.  
  9. !EarthMap does not follow standard RiscOS guidlines regarding DOS files.  In 
  10. RiscOS DOS extensions are represented using a '/' key.  !EarthMap requires an 
  11. '_' key to be used.
  12.  
  13. So, to make installation easier, the original files have been renamed to the 
  14. exact filenames necessary to work with RiscOS EarthMap.  If you want to use the
  15. files on a PC then you will have to substitute the '_' characters for '/' 
  16. characters.

  18. Steps:
  19. * Unpack !Earthmap onto your hard disc.
  20. * Shift double-click on !EarthMap.
  21. * Open the Africa archive & drag the Map/Afric_Map directory into !EarthMap's 
  22.   maps/Africa_Map directory.
  23. * Open the Asia archive and repeat the procedure.
  24. * Open the Europe archive and repeat the procedure.
  25. * Open the Namer archive and repeat the procedure.
  26. * Open the Samer archive and repeat the procedure.
  27. * Close any open windows.

  30. !EarthMap should now be ready for use.
